COMING EVENTS Atlanta Adventure Tour Back to School Rally Atlanta Adventure Tour JULY 18 - 20 The Village Group in cooperation with community churches is sponsoring an Adventure Tour to Atlanta, Georgia on July 18-20, 2008. The complete Atlanta Adventure Tour package will include Round Trip Charter Coach Bus Transportation, Hotel Accommodations, and paid tickets to both Six Flags Over Georgia Amusement Park and the World of Coca Cola. We will also visit the The King Center & the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site, and Historic Underground Atlanta. Optional attractions include the 2008 Rubik Cube tournament-‘Mind-Sport’, The Atlanta Braves vs. the Washington National Baseball, CNN, Centennial Olympic Park, and the Imagine It - Children Museum of Atlanta. Some of these attractions may cost additional dollars for admission. Seats are limited, so reservation is on a first come first serve basis. The cost is $110 person. However, funds are being sought to reduce the tour cost for our youth between the ages of 3-18. Back to School Rally AUGUST 16 The Village Group in partnership with Community Churches, Georgetown County School District, social groups, business organizations, as well individuals and families invite you to the 2008 Plantersville Back to School Rally. The back to School Rally is planned for Saturday, August 16, between the hours of 4pm and 7pm at Plantersville Elementary School. While this project includes an exciting social gathering for our youngsters we want extend a special invitation to the ministerial alliance of this community to help bless our schools, administration, faculty, and students for this coming year. We sincerely need your prayers and support so that this school year will be a banner year for instructions and discipline. Parents please bring your children and meet principals of the elementary, middle, and high schools and as well as other school district officials. We will distribute back to school supplies for every child present and also serve hamburgers, hotdogs and refreshments. We also have many door prizes for students. There is no cost to participate, however we do ask that you share this invitation with your neighbor and friends.
